The Setup Ballot page allows users to define the positions for which candidates will compete in the election. Users can add positions, specify the number of available posts, and configure options such as allowing abstentions. Additionally, users can add candidates for each position and review the ballot setup before proceeding.
Navigate to the Setup Ballot section by following the election setup workflow after managing electors.
- Click the "+ New Position" button to create a new position for the election.

In the Create Position dialog box, enter the following details:
- Position Name: Enter the name of the position (e.g., President, Secretary, EC Members).
- Available Posts: Specify the number of posts available for this position using the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to adjust the count.
- Enable Abstain: Toggle the switch to enable or disable the option for voters to abstain from voting for this position.

- After filling out the required fields, click the "Create" button to add the position to the ballot.
- If you need to cancel the creation, click the "Cancel" button to discard the changes.
Once a position is created, you can add candidates by clicking the "+ New Candidate" link under the position name.
Candidate Creation Dialog:
- Membership Number: Enter the candidate’s membership number, if applicable. If not, leave it blank.
- Candidate Details: Fill in the candidate’s title, first name, and last name.
- Photo & Symbol: Upload the candidate's photo and symbol by dragging and dropping the files or using the "Browse" option.

Click "Create" to add the candidate. To add more candidates consecutively, use "Create & create another."

- Review the List: Review the list of positions and candidates on the Setup Ballot page.
- Edit Details: Use the edit (pencil) icon to modify the details of any position or candidate.
- Delete Entries: Use the delete (trash) icon to remove a position or candidate if necessary.
- Manage Visibility: Use the visibility (eye) icon to show or hide candidates as needed.
- Arrange List: Use the arrange (up/down arrows) icon to reorder the positions or candidates in the list according to your preference.
